MR. LOVELACE PREMPEH CHAIRMAN
Lovelace Prempeh is a Chartered Accountant by profession. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wale and the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana. Mr. Prempeh chairs the Board with a prestigious professional experience both in the United Kingdom and Ghana. Mr. Prempeh has worked for international firms including and now Price Water House Coopers and KPMG as an Audit Manager. He started his career at the Audit and Finance Department of the conglomerate EMI Group in London. In Ghana, Mr. Prempeh worked as Director of SCOA Ghana Limited. In 1988, Mr. Prempeh as appointed Deputy Managing Director of Tema Oil Refinery where he spent 13years and helped increase the production capacity of the Refinery. Mr. Prempeh holds an honours degree in Economics from Lancater University. He is a member of several Boards including Financial Literacy Foundation, TV3 Network Ltd, and SAS.
MR. JOHN HENRY MARTEY NEWMAN - MEMBER
John Henry Martey Newman is a barrister at law and was called to the Ghana Bar in 1976. Mr. Martey Newman comes to the Board with a rich professional experience including serving as the Chief of Staff of the President Jon Evans Atta-Mills in 2009. Mr. Martey Newman is an outstanding public servnt with over thirty years service to the nation. He worked at the Ministry of Finance from 1969 to 1973 and was a staff of Ghana Cocoa Board from 1975 to 1992. He was later appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Cocoa Board from 1996 to early 2001. He was Chairman of International Cocoa Organizations (ICCO) from 1998 to 1999. Mr. Martey Newman privately practiced and consulted for the Cocoa trade and industry from 2001 to 2008. He holds a Bachelors of Art degree in History and Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Ghana. Mr. Martey Newman also attended the Ghana Institute of Management & Public Administration (GIMPA) and obtained postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration 1971
MR. VALDO ABRUQUAH - MEMBER
Mr. Valdo Abruquah is an Accountant and Marketer by profession. Mr. Abruquah has over 17years experience in the marketing of Medical & Laboratory Equipment, Orthopedic instruments and implants, Medical and Laboratory Consumables and Consumer care products. He was one-time Sales and Marketing Manager of Densu Industries which makes him knowledgeable in the products and operations of the organization. He is currently the Managing Director of Rochefauld Ghana Ltd a company involved in the execution of Turn-key Hospital and Laboratory Projects for the Ministry of Health, Ghana Health Service, National Blood Bank, Food & Drugs Authority and USAID.
